Daily Briefing Autopilot
A news site about your field that writes itself every morning.
Collects fresh stories from the sources you pick, has Claude write a structured edition, checks it, and publishes it before you wake up.

The problem
Keeping up with a fast-moving field means opening thirty tabs before coffee. Newsletters are generic, feeds are noise, and the one thing that matters to you is buried somewhere in the middle.
How it works
- 1
Collect
Pulls the last 24 hours from your RSS feeds and sites. My own setup reads 40 sources, with a topic filter for general news portals.
- 2
Write
Claude reads everything and writes one edition in a fixed shape: top stories, new releases with how to try them, research of the day, ideas.
- 3
Check
A validator rejects any draft that breaks the schema. Numbers like price changes are computed in code, never left to the model.
- 4
Publish
Commits the edition and your site redeploys. Backup runs at 09:00 and 12:00 catch mornings when the machine was asleep.
What you get
- Your sources, your topics, your tone of voice
- A fast website with an archive of every edition
- Optional second language, translated automatically
- Optional modules, like a daily AI token price tracker
- Setup on your machine and a short handover call
What you need
- A Mac that stays plugged in, or a small always-on server
- A Claude Pro or Max plan
- Free GitHub and Vercel accounts
Built-in safety
- No per-request API bills: it runs on your existing Claude plan
- Nothing is published unless the draft passes validation
- Runs from its own copy of the repo, so your working files are never touched
Built for my own AI News site, which publishes a fresh edition in English and Serbian every morning.
Questions
Does it have to be about AI?
No. Any field with public sources works: your industry, a market, a technology, local news. The sources and the edition format are set up for you.
Does my computer need to be on?
A sleeping Mac on a charger is enough: it wakes itself up for the run. If it misses the morning, the backup runs catch up later that day.
Can it send an email or a Slack message instead of a website?
The website is the default, but the edition is plain structured data, so other destinations are possible. Mention it in your inquiry.
